How to Play

Objective

Make the best five-card poker hand. You get one draw: after the deal, hold any cards you want to keep and the rest are replaced. Hands of a pair of Jacks or better pay out according to the paytable.

Rules

  • Choose a bet of 1 to 5 credits, then press Deal
  • Click cards (or press 15) to hold or release them; Hint suggests a good hold
  • Press Draw to replace the cards you didn't hold
  • Winning cards light up gold and the paytable row is highlighted
  • After a win, Collect banks it, or gamble it with Double
  • Betting 5 credits makes the Royal Flush jackpot pay 4000 instead of 1250

Double or Nothing

The dealer shows one card face up. Pick one of the four face-down cards: beat the dealer's card and your win doubles, tie and you push, lose and the win is gone. You can keep doubling as long as you keep winning.

Hand Rankings (high to low)

  • Royal Flush: 10-J-Q-K-A of the same suit
  • Straight Flush: five sequential cards of the same suit
  • Four of a Kind: four cards of the same rank
  • Full House: three of a kind plus a pair
  • Flush: five cards of the same suit
  • Straight: five sequential cards (Ace plays high or low)
  • Three of a Kind, Two Pair, Jacks or Better

Controls

  • D or Space — Deal / Draw
  • 15 — Hold / release card, or pick a double-up card
  • H — Hint (auto-hold)
  • C — Collect winnings
  • B — Change bet, M — Mute

Tips

  • Always hold a winning hand unless you're one card from a royal flush
  • Keep low pairs over a single high card; a pair often becomes trips or two pair
  • Never keep a "kicker" with a pair; draw three fresh cards instead
  • Four cards to a flush or open-ended straight are usually worth chasing
  • The double-up round is a fair 50/50 (ties push) — use it to chase big scores
